An SMM order status tells you where an order is in its life, from received to finished. Pending means received but not started, In progress means delivery has begun, Partial means only part was delivered and the rest refunded, and Completed means the order is done. Knowing each one helps you answer client questions quickly and accurately.

What does Pending mean on an SMM order?

Pending means the order has been received but has not started yet. Nothing has been delivered, and the start count has not been recorded.

For example, a client places an order for 2,000 followers and checks a minute later. The status still shows Pending. That is normal, and you can tell the client the order is in the queue.

What is the difference between Processing and In progress?

Processing means the order has been sent for processing and is usually waiting to start. It does not mean delivery is underway. In progress means delivery has actually started.

For example, if a client sees Processing and asks why the counter has not moved, the honest answer is that delivery has not begun yet. Once the status changes to In progress, the start count is set and the numbers begin to climb.

Why the start count matters

The start count is the counter at the moment the order starts. For example, if a profile has 5,400 followers when an order for 1,000 starts, the start count is 5,400 and the target is 6,400. Keep that number, because refill is measured against it.

What does Partial status mean?

Partial means part of the order was delivered and the undelivered remainder was refunded to your balance. You pay only for what was delivered.

For example, an order for 10,000 views ends as Partial with 7,000 delivered. The cost of the 3,000 that were not delivered goes back to your balance automatically. You can then decide whether to place a new order for the missing amount.

When explaining this to a client, keep it simple. The order stopped early, the delivered part stays, and the unused money was returned.

What does Completed mean, and can numbers still change?

Completed means the order has finished delivering the ordered amount. The counter can still move afterwards, because platforms adjust counts on their own.

For example, a profile reaches start count plus ordered amount, then drops a little a week later. If the service has refill and you are inside the refill period shown on the service, you can use the refill button on that completed order. Refill restores drops down to start count plus ordered amount. Drops below the original start count are not covered.

Platforms set their own rules on what counts and how engagement is reviewed. Read the official policy, such as Instagram's Help Center, before promising a client a result.

What does Canceled mean?

Canceled means the order will not be delivered and the charge returns to your balance. For example, an order placed on a private account may be canceled because delivery cannot start.

A common cause is a wrong link. The link on an existing order cannot be changed, so a wrong link needs a new order with the correct one.

How do you check statuses by API?

If you resell through your own panel, you can read statuses with the status and multi status calls in API v2. For example, a panel can check 50 open orders in one multi status request instead of 50 separate calls. The API v2 documentation lists the fields, and our guide to using an SMM panel API walks through the setup.

What this means for resellers and agencies

Most status questions from clients come from Processing and Partial. Explain that Processing is not delivery yet, and that Partial always returns the undelivered part to the balance. Note the start count on important orders so refill requests are easy to check.

You can see which services include refill or drip-feed on the services list.

Frequently asked questions

Can I cancel an order that is In progress?

Cancel is available through the dashboard and the API cancel call where the service allows it. If an order is canceled, the charge returns to your balance.

Does a drip-feed order show one status or many?

A drip-feed order runs in several runs over time, so check its status in the dashboard or by API until all runs have finished.

Who do I contact if a status looks stuck?

Contact support with your order ID. Support answers in English.
